Job summary

Oracle SA in Centurion seeks a Senior Accountant to own inventory accounting, stock control governance, and financial reporting across the business. You will ensure accuracy, valuation, reconciliation, and integrity of inventory, partnering with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Procurement and Finance teams.

The role requires strong accounting expertise with knowledge of warehouse operations and multi-location controls, plus experience with ERP/WMS integrations and month-end processes.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting designation (SAIPA, SAICA, CIMA, ACCA) advantageous.
• 5–10 years’ experience in stock/inventory/accounting roles.
• Strong experience with inventory reconciliations and reporting.
• Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Experience with imports, landed costs and multi-branch environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage and reconcile inventory accounts across branches.
• Ensure accurate inventory valuation including landed costs for imported stock.
• Perform monthly inventory reconciliations between ERP/WMS and GL.
• Investigate and resolve stock variances and inventory-related issues.
• Review stock adjustments, write-offs and aging; monitor shrinkage.
• Oversee cycle counts, stock takes, and inventory control processes.
• Ensure internal controls, governance and audit readiness for inventory.
• Prepare inventory reports and analyses for management.
• Support month-end, year-end and audit processes for inventory.
