Qualifications

• 5+ years’ work experience as an Accountant.
• Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and GAAP.
• Hands-on experience with Sage Evolution, Sage Intacct and payroll software.
• Experience with general ledger functions, inventory, and cash books.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Ability to communicate finance and accounting standards to non-specialists.

Responsibilities

• Gathering and monitoring financial data (sales revenues and liabilities).
• Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual statements (balance sheets and income statements).
• Forecasting costs and revenues; preparing budgets, forecasts and cash flows.
• Maintaining financial ledgers and accounting processes.
• Producing Monthly Consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Producing statutory and internal financial reports on time.
• Financial modeling and analysis; cash management and treasury duties.
• Ensuring internal controls are implemented and maintained.
• Overseeing the Payroll process; preparation of VAT returns.
