RCL FOODS is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to provide independent oversight of internal controls across the organization. Based in Westville, you will report to the Internal Audit Manager and be prepared to travel as required.

The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree (NQF Level 7) with a preference for CIA/CA(SA)/CISA certification and 3–5 years of relevant experience in FMCG environments. You will develop audit plans, perform risk-based audits, and advise on risk mitigation and process

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree mandatory.
• NQF Level 7 Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's Degree required.
• CIA/CA(SA)/CISA certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in internal auditing or related field.
• Willing to travel as required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan.
• Audit across manufacturing plants, distribution centres, and head office functions.
• Perform risk-based audits on inventory, procurement, logistics and revenue processes.
• Evaluate internal controls over stock, production, supplier payments and sales.
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions and monitor remediation.
• Ensure adherence to policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (food safety).
• Prepare audit reports for senior management and Audit & Risk Committee; liaise with external auditors.
• Advise management on process improvements and risk mitigation.
• Track KRIs and drive control enhancements in high-volume FMCG operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Audit Planning & Execution

• Develop and implement the annual internal audit plan.
• Conduct audits across manufacturing plants, distribution centres, and head office functions.
• Perform risk-based audits on inventory, procurement, logistics, and revenue processes.

Risk & Control Assessment

• Evaluate internal controls over stock, production, supplier payments, and sales.
• Identify control weaknesses and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor implementation of agreed audit findings.

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., food safety compliance).
• Support fraud investigations and monitor fraud prevention controls.

Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

• Prepare audit reports for senior management and the Audit & Risk Committee.
• Liaise with external auditors where required.
• Advise management on process improvements and risk mitigation.

Continuous Improvement

• Track key risk indicators (KRIs).
• Drive control enhancements in high-volume, fast-paced FMCG operations.
