Intermediate Senior Technical Project Manager

The Intermediate–Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for the successful end-to-end delivery of complex, technology-driven projects within a structured enterprise environment. The role requires strong project governance, stakeholder management, and technical delivery oversight to ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality standards.

This role operates at the intersection of business and technology, translating strategic objectives into executable project plans while managing cross-functional teams and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery & Execution

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of medium to large-scale technical projects
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk registers
• Ensure adherence to agreed delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid)
• Manage project dependencies, milestones, and critical paths
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, issues, and constraints

Stakeholder & Communication Management

• Engage with senior business, technology, and operations stakeholders
• Facilitate clear communication between technical teams and business units
• Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and steering committee updates
• Manage expectations and resolve conflicts constructively

Technical & Delivery Oversight

• Work closely with architects, developers, QA, infrastructure, and security teams
• Ensure technical deliverables align with enterprise standards and target architectures
• Oversee system integrations, data migrations, and platform upgrades where applicable
• Coordinate with vendor and third-party delivery teams

Governance, Quality & Compliance

• Ensure projects comply with internal governance, audit, and risk requirements
• Maintain full project documentation (business cases, charters, RAID logs, change requests)
• Support formal stage gates, sign-offs, and release approvals
• Ensure delivery aligns to regulatory, security, and data protection standards
• Manage project budgets, forecasts, and expenditure tracking
• Coordinate resource planning across multiple teams
• Track and manage vendor contracts, scope, and performance

Required Experience

• 5–8+ years project management experience, with a strong technical delivery focus
• Experience working in highly regulated or complex environments (e.g., financial services, telecommunications, utilities, or large corporates)
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple streams of work simultaneously
• Experience working with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams

Technical & Methodology Skills

• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies:
• Waterfall and Hybrid delivery models
• Solid understanding of:
• System integration and APIs
• Cloud platforms and infrastructure (advantageous)
• Data, security, and compliance principles
