Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking an Agile Scrum Master to enable cross-functional development teams to deliver quality software in line with scrum and the agile manifesto. The role involves coaching teams, removing impediments, fostering product backlog clarity, and promoting continuous improvement under mentorship, with a focus on cost containment and collaboration across the FRG.

You will report to a technical lead and work under moderate supervision; 2-3 years of agile delivery experience

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualification - Relevant Degree.
• Preferred Qualification - Certified Scrum Master.
• Experience - 2-3 years experience as part of an Agile software delivery team in any of the following roles.

Responsibilities

• Prevent wastage, and on an ongoing basis identify process improvements in order to contain and reduce costs
• Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships within company and/or across the FRG
• Participate in planned activities that are appropriate for own and employee development
• Help the Development Teams understand the need for clear and concise Product Backlog items
• Asses and evaluate of the current Agile environment within allocated Development Teams
• Coach the development teams in self-organization and cross-functionality
• Review and report on the performance of the teams
• Implement customer service solutions demonstrating the shared values
• Deliver internal and external customer service excellence through adherence to quality service standards
• Ensure that scrum is understood and enacted.
