Intermediate Recruiter-SA (One with Portuguese Speaking)
We are seeking an Intermediate Recruiter to support our talent acquisition activities in South Africa and Portuguese-speaking markets. The ideal candidate will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, source high-quality candidates, and collaborate with hiring managers to meet business hiring needs. Fluency in Portuguese and English is essential to effectively engage with candidates and stakeholders across Portuguese-speaking regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding coordination.
- Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and recruitment strategies.
- Source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and talent databases.
- Conduct initial candidate screenings and interviews to assess qualifications and cultural fit.
- Engage with candidates in Portuguese and English when recruiting for Portuguese-speaking markets.
- Maintain and update candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
- Coordinate interview schedules and provide feedback between candidates and hiring managers.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Track recruitment metrics such as time-to-fill, candidate pipeline, and hiring success rates.
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruitment campaigns.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 2–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in agency or corporate recruitment.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English (spoken and written).
- Experience sourcing candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, and social media.
- Familiarity with ATS systems and recruitment tools.
- Strong communication, interviewing, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience recruiting for IT, technical, or specialized roles.
- Experience recruiting across African or international markets.
- HR or recruitment certifications (CIPD, SHRM, or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Experience working in staffing agencies or multinational environments.
