Job summary

West Coast Personnel is seeking an experienced Retail Store Manager for a luxury furniture and home décor environment in South Africa's Western Cape. You will lead a high-performing sales team, deliver tailored interior design guidance, and drive high-value sales while maintaining premium showroom standards.

You will oversee daily showroom operations, stock control, POS systems, and inventory audits, and recruit/train staff to deliver outstanding customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of retail store management experience.
• Experience in luxury furniture, home décor or lifestyle retail is essential.
• A formal qualification or strong proven background in Interior Design, Architecture or Visual Merchandising.
• Proven ability to close high-value sales and manage customer relationships.
• Strong computer literacy, including Excel and POS systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership and customer service skills.
• Willingness to work flexible retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
