Macmillan Davies is partnering with a leading organisation in Preston to recruit an immediate-start HR Advisor for a part-time, rolling one-month contract of up to 30 hours per week. The role requires availability to work at least 2 days per week from the Preston office.

The successful candidate will provide practical HR guidance to line managers, manage ER casework, coach managers, and serve as the primary contact for day-to-day HR queries, leveraging strong UK employment law knowledge and

Qualifications

• Experience as HR Advisor, HR Generalist or HRBP with strong ER experience.
• Confident coaching managers and providing pragmatic, solutions-focused advice.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Comfortable working independently.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Available for an immediate start or short notice period.
