Santam is seeking an insurance professional to drive new business growth and manage broker relationships from Wanderers Office Park. You will understand risks, review policy wordings, and train brokers on products to expand our broker network.

The role requires training delivery, presentation preparation, and coordination with underwriters and departments to meet service standards. FAIS/RE5 compliance and a track record in underwriting are essential.

Qualifikationen

• BCom or Engineering degree or related diploma.
• Minimum 3 years in underwriting/sales short-term engineering insurance.
• Proven record of generating new business growth.
• RE5 regulatory examination completed.
• FAIS compliant as representative, not under supervision.
• 5+ years in short-term underwriting/sales insurance.
• Experience with insurance operating systems.
• Valid driver’s license.

Aufgaben

• Generating new business growth and broker engagement.
• Understand insurance risks and policy wordings.
• Train brokers on insurance products and host functions.
• Prepare presentations and load quotations accurately.
• Coordinate with underwriters and other departments.
• Renew broker relationships monthly and manage area distribution.
• Research for marketing presentations and support the marketing team.
