Job summary

Network Recruitment is assisting a well-established insurance client in Johannesburg East Rand to recruit for an Insurance Accounting role. The successful candidate will process premium receipts, manage debtors, and perform reconciliations, supporting month-end processes and broker commissions.

Applicants should hold a BCom in Accounting with 3-5 years in insurance accounting, combined with strong reconciliation and variance investigation skills to thrive in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Education: BCom Accounting Degree.
• Experience: 3-5 years' experience in an Insurance Accounting role.
• Experience within the insurance industry is essential.
• Proven experience with premium receipting and deposit allocations.
• Strong debtor management experience.
• Experience preparing broker commission statements.
• Experience investigating and resolving financial variances.
• Strong reconciliation experience within a high-volume environment.
