Our client is seeking a skilled Instrumentation Technician to support a diverse client base through the maintenance and servicing of analytical instrumentation and water analysis systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for fault-finding, calibration, commissioning, preventative maintenance, and technical support of specialised equipment used for water quality measurement and process control. You will work closely with clients to ensure equipment reliability, optimise system performance, and provide technical expertise across various industrial and environmental applications.
National diploma or degree in: Electrical Engineering Electronic Engineering Process Instrumentation Analytical Chemistry BTech Electrical Engineering BTech Electronic Engineering Instrumentation Qualification
Minimum 2-5 years' experience working with analytical instrumentation or process instrumentation. Experience servicing and calibrating water analysis equipment. Exposure to pH analysers, conductivity meters, turbidity analysers, dissolved oxygen analysers, chlorine analysers, and related instrumentation. Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capabilities. Experience with installation, commissioning, and maintenance of instrumentation systems. Sound understanding of process control and measurement principles. Strong client-facing and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and manage service schedules effectively. Excellent technical reporting and communication skills. Exposure to water treatment, environmental monitoring, utilities, or industrial processing environments will be advantageous
