Discovery Limited in Sandton is seeking an Instructional Designer to create and coordinate learning solutions for Discovery Connect. You will design engaging e-learning content, develop training simulators and leverage analytics to boost employee capability.

The ideal candidate has hands-on LMS experience, strong communication, and a passion for AI-enabled learning tools. Experience in financial services training is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Design and generate engaging training content for Discovery Connect training needs, across multiple platforms.
• Build training simulators to support facilitating system training navigation training.
• Primary focus would be to fulfill training gaps within Discovery Connect.
• Training Facilitation and/or Train the Trainer, a per business needs.
• Maintain training content on an ongoing basis.
• Co-ordinate Discovery Connect Training needs with other internal/external training providers monthly.

Key Purpose

To develop and coordinate effective learning solutions and training content that address skills gaps within Discovery Connect, using innovative digital tools, training simulators and analytics to enhance employee learning and capability.

Key Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be responsible for but not limited to the following job functions:

• Design and generate engaging training content for Discovery Connect training needs, across multiple platforms.
• Build training simulators to support facilitating system training navigation training.
• Primary focus would be to fulfill training gaps within Discovery Connect.
• Training Facilitation and/or Train the Trainer, a per business needs.
• Maintain training content on an ongoing basis.
• Co-ordinate Discovery Connect Training needs with other internal/external training providers monthly basis.
• Book training rooms and ensure that all training need and requirements are in place.
• Measuring the success of content using analytics tools and adjusting strategies based on the data
• Report regularly on all training for the month.
• Adherence to Copyright and Privacy laws.

Education and Experience

Education

• Matric.
• Advanced MS Office Skills.
• Education & training qualification (ETDP), specifically Design and Development would be advantageous.

Experience

• Expertise in Learning Management systems.
• Experience with building simulators for training purposes is a requirement.
• Financial Industry, Call Centre training related experience advantageous.
• Experience with creating training solutions with the use of AI is advantageous.
• Instructional design experience within the financial services or insurance industry is advantageous.
