Job summary

Shoprite in Brackenfell, South Africa, seeks an Insights Consultant to leverage data platforms for strategic retail insights. You will deliver analyses of sales and shopper trends, train stakeholders, and coordinate supplier accounts while building strong relationships across teams.

You will communicate findings through structured storytelling, support adoption of the insights tools, and contribute to case studies demonstrating value. A background in analytics within FMCG is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field / or working towards– (essential).
• +1 years' experience in a similar capacity or key account management in analytics or SaaS context – (essential)
• Experience with large data sets, analytics platforms to derive insights and present them.
• Well-packaged, visually appealing presentations of insights.
• Proven FMCG/retail insights experience is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Execute analyses on sales, shopper, and category trends; identify drivers from reports and dashboards.
• Translate findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Create stakeholder presentations; deliver insights with storytelling and visuals.
• Support internal users and suppliers to access and use the insights platform.
• Coordinate stakeholder requirements and deliver against the workplan; escalate when needed.
• Train users on platform navigation and report interpretation.
• Maintain CRM logs and documentation; log incidents and manage progress.
• Produce case studies showing impact and business value.
