University of Fort Hare is seeking an Internal Sales Assistant to support the sales team in Centurion. The role focuses on developing and qualifying leads, maintaining pipelines, and coordinating with the BDE team to drive revenue.

The ideal candidate will have matric and experience in sales, with strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude. Familiarity with CRM systems and telecommunications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Matric and sales experience is advantageous.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering industries is advantageous.
• Sales degree or diploma is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and qualify leads through prospecting, cold calling and other tactics.
• Maintain and improve the sales pipeline.
• Arrange meetings at prospects for the BDEs.
• Proficient use of CRM software, logging all sales activity.
• Create quotes and payment notices.
• Sales-related administration.
• Assist the BDE team in sales improvements.
• Liaise with the technical team to arrange demos, webinars and blog content.
