Beaver Migration and Recruitment has an opportunity in Belgium for an experienced Injection Mold Technician to join a leading manufacturer. You will set up molds, optimise machine performance, troubleshoot defects and drive continuous improvement while relocating from South Africa.

Qualifications

• Technical qualification in Plastics Processing, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience with injection molding machines and mold changeovers.
• Strong understanding of thermoplastics and injection molding processes.
• Experience adjusting machine parameters to improve production performance.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change injection molds safely and efficiently.
• Install and secure molds using overhead cranes and lifting equipment.
• Optimize machine parameters to maximize production efficiency and product quality.
• Troubleshoot molding defects such as flash, sink marks, short shots, and warping.
• Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on molds and equipment.
• Monitor production quality and adjust processes as needed.
• Support continuous improvement to increase productivity and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations.
