Job summary

Beaver Migration and Recruitment is assisting a leading Belgian plastics manufacturer to recruiting an Injection Mold Technician. The role focuses on setting up molds, optimizing machine performance, and maintaining high product quality, with relocation and immigration support provided.

You will help reduce downtime, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement in a modern European facility, while receiving ongoing training and career development in a permanent role.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up injection molding machines.
• Ability to change molds safely and efficiently.
• Know-how on adjusting machine parameters for quality and speed.
• Familiarity with thermoplastics processing.

Responsibilities

• Set up and change injection molds safely and efficiently.
• Install and secure molds using cranes and lifting equipment.
• Optimise machine parameters to maximise productivity and quality.
• Troubleshoot defects such as flash, sink marks, short shots and warping.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on molds and equipment.
• Monitor quality and adjust processes to maintain standards.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce waste and downtime.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams.
