Job summary

MANPOWER Group in South Africa seeks a Senior Maintenance Manager to lead railway infrastructure maintenance, align operations with performance targets, and uphold safety standards.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, budgets, and contractor relationships, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with legislation and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Civil Engineering.
• Professional registration with ECSA.
• Minimum 10 years' experience in a senior supervisory or management role within a railway maintenance or infrastructure environment.
• Proven experience managing multidisciplinary technical teams.
• Strong understanding of maintenance operations, contractor management, budgeting, and risk management.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder engagement, negotiation, and people management skills.
