About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and forward-thinking Lead Information Security Analyst to guide their security operations in Randburg . This senior role involves leading a team of analysts, overseeing security monitoring, incident response, and threat intelligence efforts. You will be instrumental in developing and refining security processes, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring the highest level of security protection for the organization. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of information security analysts, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Oversee the daily operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC), including threat detection and analysis.
• Manage and mature the incident response process, ensuring timely and effective resolution of security breaches.
• Develop and maintain threat intelligence feeds and analytical capabilities.
• Conduct advanced security investigations and provide expert analysis of complex security events.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field; advanced degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
