Placements24 is seeking an Environmental Services Specialist in Pretoria to uphold infection control and sanitation standards across hospital departments. You will lead staff, enforce cleaning protocols, and ensure regulatory compliance for patient and staff safety.

Formación

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in environmental services or healthcare cleaning with infection control focus.
• Thorough knowledge of healthcare cleaning protocols, disinfection methods and sterilization techniques.
• Familiarity with healthcare regulations and standards (infection control guidelines, waste management).
• Excellent understanding of chemical disinfectants and their proper application.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills to train and motivate a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong observational skills for quality assurance.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced Pretoria healthcare environment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; certification in Infection Control or Healthcare Environmental Services desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Stay updated on infection control and environmental hygiene practices in healthcare.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and facility management to address environmental needs.
• Respond promptly to environmental health and safety incidents or outbreaks.
