Job summary

HENSOLDT South Africa is seeking an Industrialisation Technologist to establish and maintain production-ready product structures and ERP configurations. You will translate approved engineering data into controlled baselines to support compliant and cost-effective production.

The role emphasizes product structure management, BOM creation and lifecycle control, with focus on RoHS/REACH compliance and timely engineering changes across manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum Advanced Diploma/BTech in Electronic Engineering or a related qualification.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience within a military electronics environment, preferably in industrialisation or production engineering.
• Experience with ERP systems in a production/manufacturing context.
• Practical experience with electronic product structures and engineering data in production.

Responsibilities

• Establish product master data, BOMs, product structures, part numbers and routings in the ERP to create production-ready baselines.
• Verify and maintain product structures, master records and component statuses across the lifecycle.
• Manage component compliance, RoHS/REACH and obsolescence risks for continuity of production.
• Coordinate industrialisation readiness reviews and capture approved changes before production start.
• Analyse manufacturing operations and routings to verify standard times and drive cost-effective production.
