Placements24 is seeking an Advanced Sanitation Technician for industrial cleaning and safety-critical work near Rustenburg, North West. The role involves handling heavy equipment, hazardous materials tasks, and ensuring compliance with strict safety standards in challenging environments.

You will operate high-pressure washers and steam cleaners, perform maintenance, and support site teams while maintaining rigorous documentation and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in industrial cleaning or a related field.
• Experience operating heavy cleaning equipment and handling industrial chemicals.
• Strong safety protocol knowledge for industrial environments.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized industrial cleaning tasks including degreasing and site sanitation.
• Operate and maintain advanced cleaning equipment (high-pressure, steam cleaners).
• Follow lock-out/tag-out and PPE procedures for safety.
• Inspect and maintain cleaning machinery; document usage and status.
• Handle industrial chemicals safely and dispose waste per regulations.
• Collaborate with site managers and safety officers to minimize disruption.
• Provide on-the-job training to junior team members.
