Qualifications

• Proven experience in industrial or commercial cleaning and sanitation.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, disinfection methods, and sanitation best practices.
• Ability to operate and maintain cleaning machines and equipment safely.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, OSHA).
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and working in various environmental conditions.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills in English.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Previous experience in the Paarl region is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of designated areas, equipment, and machinery according to protocols.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment safely.
• Follow health, safety, and environmental procedures including waste management and chemical handling.
