Placements24 in Durban is seeking a proactive Recruitment Consultant to focus on the industrial sector, connecting skilled professionals with manufacturers, logistics and engineering leaders across KwaZulu-Natal.

You will manage end-to-end recruitment, source candidates through databases, networking and social media, build strong client relationships, conduct interviews and guide offers and onboarding in a fast-paced, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in recruitment consultancy, preferably with exposure to industrial or manufacturing sectors.
• Proven success in filling roles within engineering, operations, or skilled trades.
• Strong understanding of the industrial job market and relevant skill sets.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with recruitment tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for a variety of industrial positions, including skilled trades, engineers, and operational staff.
• Identify and attract qualified candidates through effective sourcing strategies, including database searches, networking, and social media.
• Develop strong working relationships with clients in the industrial sector, understanding their operational needs and staffing requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive interviews and candidate assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Facilitate offer negotiations and ensure a smooth onboarding process for successful candidates.
• Maintain accurate candidate and client records in the ATS.
