Job summary

Network Finance in Gauteng is seeking an Automation/PLC Engineer to develop, configure and maintain PLC programs for industrial systems. You will work with PLCs, HMIs and SCADA, ensuring solutions meet project requirements and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have strong troubleshooting skills, knowledge of major PLC platforms, and a willingness to travel to client sites for commissioning and support.

Qualifications

Must have PLC programming experience and automation background.
Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings.
Experience with at least one major PLC platform.
Willingness to travel to client sites.

Responsibilities

Develop, write, modify and maintain PLC programs for industrial machinery.
Configure and integrate PLCs, HMIs and SCADA systems.
Design, develop and implement automation solutions per project goals.
Conduct testing, fault-finding and debugging.
Perform commissioning and on-site start-up activities.
Provide technical support and maintenance as required.
Prepare programming documentation and project reports.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards and safety requirements.
