Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, trays, utensils and kitchen equipment thoroughly and efficiently
• Operate industrial dishwashing machines where applicable
• Ensure all kitchen items are cleaned, sanitized and stored correctly
• Maintain cleanliness of the scullery area throughout shifts
• Carry and move heavy pots, containers, kitchen equipment and stock items safely
• Assist with moving tables, food trolleys, and deliveries when required
• Load and unload kitchen supplies and equipment
• Support kitchen staff during large functions, events, or busy service periods
• Sweep and mop kitchen floors; clean refrigerators and storage areas
• Follow hygiene, PPE and safety procedures
