Qualifications

• Formal education with Grade 12/Matric; vocational hygiene/cleaning training preferred.
• Experience: entry-level cleaner in corporate, commercial or food service settings.
• Customer-facing interaction with staff and guests.
• Chemical and tool knowledge including COSHH/MSDS and cleaning machinery.
• Personal hygiene, reliability, and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Clean FOH dining areas, lobbies, and meeting spaces; perform surface disinfection with food-grade solutions.
• Support BOH food prep cleaning; degrease and sanitize kitchen areas and walk-in chillers.
• Execute routine deep-cleaning projects and HACCP-aligned sanitation tasks.
• Restock consumables, report defects, and maintain hygiene standards across facilities.
