Placements24 in Randburg is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team. You will install, maintain and repair a range of industrial equipment at client sites around Randburg, ensuring optimal performance and timely issue resolution.

The role requires strong mechanical and troubleshooting abilities, excellent communication, and a valid driver's license with willingness to travel across Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Field Service Technician or similar maintenance/installation role.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with industrial equipment.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and service manuals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; willing to travel within Gauteng.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair a variety of industrial equipment at client sites.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Diagnose technical problems, troubleshoot malfunctions, and implement effective repair solutions.
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to guide installation and repair work.
• Provide on-site training and technical support to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service reports, inventory of parts, and submit documentation in a timely manner.
