Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to lead a team in Mahikeng. The role focuses on optimizing production processes, supply chain logistics, and overall plant efficiency.

You will mentor engineers and drive strategic initiatives across operations. The ideal candidate has a Master’s in Industrial Engineering, 10+ years in the field including 3+ years in management, and strong knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, plus extensive project leadership

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering, with at least 3 years in a management role.
• Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale projects and cross-functional teams.
• Strong leadership, communication, and strategic planning skills.
• Proficiency in simulation software, data analytics, and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Industrial Engineers.
• Develop and execute strategic plans for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvements.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of production systems and workflows.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
• Manage capital expenditure projects related to operational improvements and equipment upgrades.
• Collaborate with senior management to align industrial engineering strategies with business objectives.
