Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Consultant to drive process improvements in Upington. You will analyze complex systems, identify inefficiencies, and guide Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to deliver measurable gains.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial engineering, process improvement, or operations consulting.
• Demonstrated expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma (Master Black Belt preferred), and change management.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering complex operational improvement projects.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills.
• Strong client-facing skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of existing industrial processes, identifying areas for optimization and cost reduction.
• Develop and present strategic recommendations for process improvements, operational enhancements, and technology adoption.
• Lead and facilitate workshops and training sessions on Lean, Six Sigma, and other improvement methodologies.
• Design and implement new operational procedures and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Collaborate closely with management and operational teams to ensure successful implementation of recommendations.
• Provide expert advice on facility layout, material handling, and production system design.
