Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes with remote work flexibility. You will analyze production data, identify bottlenecks, and drive data-driven improvements across distributed sites, including near Mahikeng, North West.

Core duties include applying lean manufacturing, developing SOPs, tracking KPIs, and collaborating with production and quality teams to boost efficiency and reduce costs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in process improvement and manufacturing operations.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and tools.
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (Excel, Minitab).
• Experience with ERP systems is beneficial.
• Ability to work remotely and collaborate with distributed teams.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze manufacturing processes, identifying bottlenecks and areas for improvement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field. 3-5 years of experience in industrial engineering, focusing on process improvement and manufacturing operations. Strong understanding and practical application of lean manufacturing principles and tools. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical software (e.g., Excel, Minitab). Experience with simulation software is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively remotely. Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively in a remote work environment. Experience with ERP systems is beneficial. Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges.
