Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer in Soweto, Gauteng, to lead process optimization and lean initiatives. The role combines strategic planning with on-site engagement in a hybrid setup, driving waste reduction, efficiency gains and quality improvements.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3 years in industrial engineering, strong analytical skills, and hands-on problem-solving using lean methods and data analysis.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial engineering with a strong focus on process optimization and lean manufacturing
• Proven experience applying lean manufacturing principles in a production environment
• Proficiency in data analysis and statistical tools (e.g., Excel, Minitab)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration
• Ability to manage time effectively and work within a hybrid model
• Familiarity with CAD software is an advantage

Responsabilidades

About the Role

About the Role Our client, a well-established manufacturing entity, is seeking a proficient Industrial Engineer to spearhead process optimization and lean manufacturing initiatives. This role adopts a hybrid model, allowing for a blend of remote strategic planning and on-site operational engagement in Soweto, Gauteng, ZA .
