About the Role

Our client, a growing manufacturing firm based in Mahikeng, North West , is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to focus on Manufacturing Process Development. This role is integral to designing, implementing, and refining production processes for new and existing products, ensuring optimal efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. You will work closely with R&D, production, and quality teams to translate product designs into robust manufacturing solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of manufacturing principles, and a proven ability to innovate and solve complex process challenges. This is a remote-first position, requiring a self-driven individual capable of delivering results without direct supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Proficiency in Lean Manufacturing methodologies and tools (e.g., Kaizen, 5S, VSM).
• Experience with process simulation and data analysis tools (e.g., Minitab).
• Strong understanding of product development lifecycles and new product introduction (NPI) processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, essential for a remote role.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively.
• Must be authorized to work in South Africa.
