About the Role

Our client, a well-established industrial firm operating in Welkom, Free State, is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to focus on plant layout optimization and capacity planning. This role is crucial for ensuring efficient space utilization, material flow, and maximizing production capacity within their Welkom facility. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of factory design principles, simulation modeling, and data analysis to support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with operations, engineering, and management teams to develop and implement optimal layouts and production plans. This is an on-site position, demanding close collaboration within the Welkom plant to drive tangible improvements in efficiency and throughput. Your expertise will be vital for the continued growth and operational success of our client in the Free State.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze current plant layout and material flow to identify opportunities for improvement in efficiency and safety.


• Design and develop optimal factory and workstation layouts using CAD software and simulation tools.
