About the Role

Our client, a major industrial manufacturing company in Vereeniging, Gauteng , is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to lead the design and optimization of plant layouts and facilities. This critical role involves analyzing current operational footprints, developing efficient facility layouts, and planning for future expansion or modifications to enhance productivity, safety, and material flow. You will be responsible for utilizing CAD software and simulation tools to create and evaluate layout designs, ensuring they meet operational requirements and strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, material handling systems, and industrial facility design principles. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize plant and facility layouts using CAD software.
• Analyze material flow, equipment placement, and workflow to improve efficiency and reduce bottlenecks.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new facility designs or modifications.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, and safety teams to ensure layout designs meet all requirements.
• Utilize simulation software to model and evaluate the performance of proposed layouts.
• Develop detailed facility plans, including equipment specifications, utility requirements, and safety features.

Requirements
