Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Engineer to manage production planning and control systems at the Vereeniging facility. The role requires optimizing schedules, coordinating with multiple departments, and applying advanced planning techniques to maximize throughput and minimize lead times.

The ideal candidate brings a Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering or related field and 3+ years in manufacturing planning, with strong analytical capabilities and ERP/MRP proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations management within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of production planning methodologies and ERP/MRP software.
• Excellent analytical skills and ability to work with large datasets.
• Ability to map processes, analyze capacity, and identify bottlenecks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and resources.
• Implement and manage PPC systems and software.
• Monitor progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with operations, procurement, and logistics to ensure smooth material flow.
• Analyze production data to identify trends and opportunities for capacity optimization.
• Improve forecasting accuracy and inventory management to support production goals.
