Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer to lead facilities and layout design initiatives in Polokwane, Limpopo, ZA. The role focuses on optimizing the physical workspace to improve operational flow, safety and efficiency across manufacturing and distribution centers, with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in industrial engineering with facilities design, layout planning, and material flow optimization.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD) and simulation tools (AnyLogic, FlexSim).
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and its application to facility design.
• Knowledge of material handling equipment and systems.
• Excellent spatial reasoning and problem-solving skills.
• Effective project management and communication abilities.
• Experience working in a Hybrid capacity.
• Familiarity with industrial safety standards and regulations.
