Job summary

Placements24 in Benoni, Gauteng, is seeking a qualified Industrial Electrician to ensure reliable electrical systems in a manufacturing environment.

You will install, maintain and repair electrical equipment, troubleshoot faults, and uphold safety standards including lockout/tagout. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in industry, PLCs and VFDs experience, and a solid understanding of SANS codes.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with a relevant trade certificate (NQF Level 3/4).
• Minimum 5 years of Industrial Electrician experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with PLCs, VFDs and motor controls.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and SANS codes.
• Proficiency with electrical testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, test, maintain and repair electrical equipment and control systems.
• Diagnose faults using testing tools and electrical schematics.
• Follow lockout/tagout and safety regulations.
• Read blueprints and manuals to support installations.
• Maintain records of maintenance and repairs.
