Key requirements include a recognised trade qualification (N3 or equivalent) and experience in manufacturing electrical maintenance. Candidates must read schematics and adhere to safety standards, with willingness to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Qualified Industrial Electrician with recognised trade qualification (N3 or equivalent).
• Proven experience in industrial or manufacturing electrical maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations for electrical work.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and components in the manufacturing plant.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems using diagnostic equipment and schematics.
• Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure reliability.
• Ensure compliance with SANS and relevant electrical codes and regulations.
• Read electrical blueprints and technical manuals.
• Respond to electrical emergencies and perform necessary repairs safely.
