Placements24 in Paarl is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to support the industrial maintenance team. You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose faults, and ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has a National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrician N3/N4, at least 3 years of industrial experience, and the ability to read schematics and comply with safety standards.

Qualifications

• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Electrician N3/N4.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Electrical Technician in an industrial setting.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and electrical codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on electrical systems, machinery, and control panels.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, including motors, starters, control circuits, and power distribution.
• Install, connect, and test new electrical equipment and wiring.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to perform troubleshooting.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with SANS and other relevant safety regulations.
• Assist with the maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and control devices.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and parts used.
