Placements24 is seeking an Industrial Control Systems Technician for a contract role in Durban. You will install, configure, test, and maintain PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA systems across production lines, ensuring efficiency and uptime.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Industrial Control Systems Technician or similar role focusing on PLC/HMI systems.
• Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting PLC platforms (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Omron).
• Experience with HMI software and SCADA configuration.
• Solid understanding of industrial networks (Ethernet/IP, Profibus, Modbus).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and control diagrams.
• Relevant technical qualification or trade certification in industrial electronics or automation.

Key Responsibilities
