Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Industrial Cleaning Coordinator to manage cleaning operations at their Welkom facility. You will oversee cleaning teams, plan schedules, and ensure safety and hygiene standards across the site.

The role requires hands-on supervision, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment, and a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial cleaning or facilities management.
• Ability to supervise a cleaning team and manage schedules effectively.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures.
• Strong understanding of occupational health and safety requirements.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to work on-site and perform inspections.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and supervise daily industrial cleaning activities across the facility.
• Ensure cleaning operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Manage and train cleaning crews, providing clear instructions and performance feedback.
• Oversee the proper use and maintenance of industrial cleaning equipment and machinery.
• Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and chemicals, ensuring timely replenishment and safe storage.
• Implement and monitor SOPs for all cleaning tasks.
