Job summary

Placements24 in Centurion is seeking a Special Needs Education Coordinator to lead and enhance inclusive education initiatives. You will develop, implement, and oversee IEPs for students with diverse learning needs.

You will work with teachers, parents, therapists, and administrators to ensure students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally, while ensuring compliant practices and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience working directly with students with special needs.
• Anticipates needs and adapts strategies for diverse learning requirements.
• Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Strong understanding of learning disabilities and behavioral support strategies.
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage, and review IEPs for students requiring special educational support.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to implement differentiated instruction and accommodations.
• Liaise with external specialists, therapists, and agencies to provide comprehensive support services.
• Provide guidance and training to teachers and staff on best practices in special needs education.
• Monitor student progress and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
