Job summary

HGS Cape Town is recruiting an Inbound Sales Agent to support a US-based client. This on-site role in Woodstock requires handling high volumes of inbound calls, understanding customer needs, and guiding them to suitable home services with a consultative approach.

You will be trained extensively to be confident with products, systems, and processes, and you’ll contribute to a high-performing sales team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Matric qualification or relevant sales/contact centre experience.
• Strong verbal communication with the ability to influence decisions.
• Customer-focused mindset with commercial awareness and resilience.
• Ability to multitask, stay accurate, and adapt to pressure.
• Comfort with CRM systems and sales tools; accurate real-time data capture.
• Understanding of upselling/cross-selling strategies.
• Familiarity with contact centre operations and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound sales calls and build rapport quickly.
• Identify needs through questioning and listening; offer tailored options.
• Explain product features, pricing, and benefits clearly.
• Address objections and guide customers toward a decision.
• Achieve and exceed individual sales targets; close on first contact when possible.
• Capture accurate customer information and complete transactions in CRM.
• Maintain quality, compliance, and ethical sales standards.
