Job summary

The Sales Centre co is seeking an experienced Events Sales & Booking Coordinator to manage inbound enquiries across its London venue portfolio. The role focuses on understanding client needs and guiding them from first contact to confirmed booking, with a strong emphasis on hospitality expertise over cold-calling.

You'll work closely with venue teams, handle quotations, deposits and handover, and use CRM and DesignMyNight to maximise bookings while delivering an excellent client experience.

Qualifications

• Extensive events/hospitality experience essential.
• Knowledge of event management and hospitality industry.
• Experience handling enquiries from enquiry to confirmation.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries, bookings and deadlines.
• Experience with CRM/booking systems.
• DesignMyNight or similar booking system preferred.
• Commercial awareness and upselling.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound event and group-booking enquiries.
• Respond promptly and professionally to enquiries.
• Understand customer event requirements (numbers, dates, budget).
• Ask the right questions to ensure accurate information.
• Recommend venues and packages based on needs.
• Cross-sell alternative venues, dates or times.
• Provide quotations, bookings and confirmations.
• Upsell packages, food and drink options and add-ons.
• Follow up to maximise conversion.
• Coordinate deposits, invoices, reminders and handover.
• Maintain CRM and booking records.
• Document customer requirements for London venue team.
• Conduct remote meetings and virtual venue introductions.
• Coordinate venue showarounds with London managers.
• Warm follow-up with past customers and prospects.
• Maintain pipeline and ensure follow-ups.
• Provide activity, pipeline and booking updates.
• Work with venue teams to ensure bookings are achievable.
