Job summary

Dis-Chem Life is seeking in-store Financial Advisors to be placed in Dis-Chem Stores nationwide. You’ll engage customers, provide needs-based financial advice on insurance and financial products, and help protect lives.

This is a floor-based, full-time role in a busy retail environment with support from marketing, product, and operations teams. Qualifications include Matric; RE5 + COB advantageous; post‑matric qualification advantageous; and experience in face-to-face advisory or high-traffic

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• RE5 + COB is advantageous.
• Post-matric qualification in FMCG/Retail/Business is advantageous.
• Experience in face-to-face advisory or high-traffic retail is required.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with walk-in customers in-store to identify needs and introduce insurance/financial products.
• Deliver compliant, needs-based financial advice face-to-face.
• Build trust and long-term relationships with customers by demonstrating product value.
• Consistently achieve sales targets and conversion metrics in a high-traffic retail setting.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, compliance, and FSCA regulatory requirements.
• Complete all required documentation in line with compliance standards.
