Job summary

Dis-Chem Life is hiring Instore Financial Advisors to connect with customers in-store and provide tailored financial solutions. You’ll turn everyday store visits into meaningful conversations that protect lives, build trust, and grow the business.

Work is in busy Dis-Chem stores, with face-to-face advice, adherence to compliance, and achievement of sales targets. You will be supported by marketing and product teams to drive growth.

Qualifications

• Matric is required.
• Diploma or Degree in a relevant field is advantageous.
• RE5 + COB status is advantageous.
• Minimum 2–4 years in insurance/financial services or high-traffic retail.

Responsibilities

• Engage directly with walk-in customers to identify needs and introduce Dis-Chem Life insurance and financial products.
• Deliver compliant, needs-based financial advice face-to-face.
• Build trust and long-term relationships by showing product value.
• Consistently achieve sales targets in a high-traffic retail setting.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, compliance, and FSCA regulatory requirements.
• Represent Dis-Chem Life with professionalism and approachability.
• Keep accurate records of client interactions and complete documentation in line with compliance.
