Job summary

Dis-Chem Life is recruiting Instore Financial Advisors to be placed in Dis-Chem Stores nationwide in South Africa. You will connect with customers on the shop floor, offering tailored insurance and financial solutions to protect lives and grow the business.

You will deliver compliant, needs-based advice face-to-face, meet sales targets in a busy retail setting, and stay current with FSCA requirements, product knowledge, and documentation standards, while delivering excellent customer care.

Qualifications

• Matric (National Senior Certificate) required.
• RE5 + COB advantageous.
• Post Matric qualification in a relevant field advantageous.
• Fit & Proper status if previously licensed.
• 2–4 years experience in advisory or high-traffic retail.
• Proven face-to-face client engagement and sales.
• Strong interpersonal and listening skills; simplify complex concepts.
• Willing to work retail hours, weekends and public holidays.
• Reliable transport to allocated store.
• Must be bilingual

Responsibilities

• Engage walk-in customers to identify needs and present products.
• Deliver compliant, needs-based financial advice face-to-face.
• Build trust and long-term relationships with customers.
