Placements24 is seeking an In-House Legal Counsel in George, Western Cape. You will be the primary legal contact for business operations, drafting and advising on commercial agreements while managing disputes.

The role requires admitted SA attorney with at least 6 years post-qualification experience, strong contract and litigation background, and the ability to provide business-oriented legal solutions in a collaborative, office-based setting in George.

Competenze

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• Minimum 6 years post-qualification experience.
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Proven track record in managing and resolving legal disputes.
• Strong understanding of contract and corporate law.

Mansioni

• Draft, review, negotiate, and manage commercial contracts incl. supply, SLAs, partnerships, and licensing.
• Provide legal advice on contractual matters, risk assessment, and disputes.
• Oversee all stages of litigation and dispute resolution.
• Develop and implement legal strategies for dispute management.
• Advise on regulatory compliance, IP protection, and corporate governance.
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions on diverse issues.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and operations to ensure compliance.
