Job summary

You will work closely with stakeholders to mitigate risks, develop internal policies, manage external counsel when needed, and contribute to building a robust legal framework in the Western Cape.

Qualifications

• Admitted attorney with at least 5 years' experience in commercial contracts and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of South African corporate and commercial law.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex agreements.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts, including vendor and service agreements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Advise on legal risks in commercial activities and strategic initiatives.
• Assist in developing internal policies and procedures.
• Manage external counsel and oversee legal matters.
• Support litigation and dispute resolution efforts.
