About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent and detail-oriented In-House Counsel to focus on Contracts and Compliance matters in their Centurion office. This role is instrumental in ensuring the company operates within legal boundaries while facilitating smooth business operations through robust contract management. You will be responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating all types of contracts, as well as advising on regulatory compliance and risk management. The ideal candidate is proactive, possesses strong ethical standards, and can effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve business objectives while mitigating legal risks, contributing to a culture of integrity and legal soundness throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, including service, supply, licensing, and NDAs.
• Ensure company policies and practices comply with all applicable local and international laws and regulations.
• Advise business teams on contractual risks and obligations.
• Manage the contract lifecycle, from initial drafting to execution and renewal.
• Develop and deliver training on compliance-related topics to employees.
• Maintain and update corporate compliance programs and documentation.

Requirements
